Today, Xiaomi hosts a special event in India to launch their new Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro device. Both devices come with the same screen size of 5.99 inches with a screen ratio of 18: 9 and display FHD+. For this version, they say it is the thinnest version of the Redmi they ever produced with a thickness of 8.05mm

Redmi Note 5

For Redmi Note 5 device, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. In addition, it is equipped with a 4000mAh battery capacity and still maintains the use of micro USB 2.0 slot. For cameras, it uses a 12MP camera for rear camera and 5MP for front camera as well as LED Selfie-light.

Redmi Note 5 Pro

For Redmi Note 5 Pro, it uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip with 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Just like Redmi Note 5, it also comes with a 4000mAh capacity battery and still maintains the use of micro USB 2.0 slots. However, for Redmi Note 5 Pro camera use 12 + 5MP dual camera for rear camera and 20MP Sony IMX376 for front camera with LED Selfie-light.

For the local market, we still do not know whether it will be marketed here. And for now, it is only sold for the Indian market. Here is our estimated price according to the current exchange rate. Price may be higher than we list.
