After a few teaser before, today officially was introduced Redmi 3 to the public, and will go on sale in the Chinese market – January 12, 2016. The device will be sold in China at a price of 699 yuan, which is around RM470 according to the current exchange rate. The Redmi 3 comes with metal-based design 5 inch body, 4100 mAh battery but even thinner than the previous Redmi series, Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, Hybrid Dual SIM slot, 13 MP, 0.1s ultra-fast PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus).
Got four choices of Redmi 3, you may choose plaid design with stylish gold, dark gray or metallic. For those who prefer non plaid design, you may go for the classic gold color. Redmi 3 supports dual sim dual standby OR for those who uses only one sim card and prefer more storage on the phone, you may insert TF card up to 128 GB in second sim card slot.
For now, Xiaomi has yet to announce the sale of this device to the market outside China. But, based on their previous the offer, is possible for us to see it coming into the Malaysian market in the next few months.
