Xiaomi today unveiled their latest smartphone for the Chinese market, named Xiaomi Mi4c. It is an update to the specifications higher than Xiaomi Mi4i before, but maintain approximately the same design – and includes several new features through it.Xiaomi Mi4c comes with a 5-inch sized screen with a full HD display, and generated using the Snapdragon chip 808 – compared to only 615 in Mi4i Snapdragon. Xiaomi Mi4c use 3080mAh capacity battery, and also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera with wide lens – as well as 13-megapixel rear camera. Xiaomi include a few new things in this Mi4c, one of them is a USB Type-C port for charging purposes, and also includes functionality to enable dual-tap the screen.
In addition, Xiaomi also includes a function called Edge Tap that lets you tap on the side of the device to make a few things – for example take pictures selfie or return to the previous screen. Xiaomi Mi4c will go on sale in China in two variants, wherein the basic version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage priced at RMB1299 (~ RM874). For now, it is not known yet when the device will enter the local market.
